The well known Waterberg is situated about 280 km north of Windhoek, halfway to Etosha
Nationalpark. The unique region of Waterberg is internationally famous for its vast variety of species of flora and fauna. The national nature conservancy of Waterberg Nationalpark,
which surrounds Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, has the benefit of the highest protective status, as especially threatened species of animals are living here, e. g. buffalos, rhinos,
leopards, vultures and all sorts of antelopes.
Waterberg Wilderness Lodge is therefore really something special! The property of our farm Otjosongombe extends from the foot of
the Waterberg up to the plateau. Therefore our lodge is the only one in the Waterberg region, which can offer it's guests guided hiking tours to and on the plateau. If you are
allround interested in land and nature you are exactly in the right spot at our Waterberg Wilderness Lodge. Our farm is family property since 1907 and we offer relaxation, excitement
and adventure as well as an insight in farmlife and our surrounding nature. |
